The Learning Center is committed to providing a comfortable learning environment which fosters respect for all and the expectation that all students can succeed. Our goals include teaching students to learn more effectively and independently. Our Tutoring program is internationally certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). Certification means that the Learning Center meets internationally accepted standards for tutor selection, tutor training, and tutor evaluation, as well as for overall program management and evaluation. Tutors provide guidance and instruction to help you with your coursework, but they will not do your work for you. To get the most out of your visit to the Learning Center, come prepared - bring relevant assignments, papers, or books to your tutoring sessions, and, most importantly, bring a sense of what you want to work on in the session.
